What is Botox?

Botox is a brand name of a toxin made by the bacterium clostridium botulinum. There are other brands, such as Bocouture, Azzalure. Botox is the term you hear most often because it was the first injectable botulinum toxin.

The most common use of these injections is to temporarily relax the facial muscles that cause wrinkles in the forehead and around the eyes

 

What age can you have Botox?

There is no right or wrong time to start anti-ageing treatments. Botox works best as a preventative treatment. If you have lines or wrinkles that bother you then we have lots of treatments that can help, whether you want a natural look or a stronger look there are so many options available.

What are Nasio Labial folds?

Nasolabial folds are the lines which go from the corner of your nose to the outside corner of your mouth, often referred to as the smile lines or laughter lines.

They often develop as we get older and can become more prominent especially if you have had sun damage or smoke.
